Linky, Giveaways And A Flash Sale

I am linking up with Falling into First to meet and get to know other teacher bloggers! Make sure to link up so I can get to know you a little better too!

A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS...
Fresh garden tomatoes with salt. Boating. Going on vacation. Photography. Twizzler nibs. Watching movies. Ross. Spending time with my cute hubby. Country music. Going to church. Making products for TpT. Blog stalking. Pinterest. Sleeping in.

IF YOU WEREN'T A TEACHER, WHAT WOULD YOU WANT TO BE?
I almost majored in Photography. I'm forever grateful that I changed to education, but I would still love to take some photography classes and get more into it!

THREE LITTLE WORDS THAT DESCRIBE YOU.
 Organized. Determined. Faithful.

FINISH THE SENTENCE, "________,  SAID NO TEACHER EVER!!"
"I'm always bored during the summer"

IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY AND YOU CAN INVITE ANYONE {DEAD OR ALIVE} TO THE PARTY. WHO ARE YOU INVITING?
My Grandma who passed away the end of my Senior year of High School. She was an amazing example to me and always had great advice to share. "Life is Good"

IF SOMEONE WROTE A BOOK ABOUT YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD BE THE TITLE?
"Don't Wake the Princess....or you'll have a fire-breathing dragon"Hahaha. My mom actually came up with this one! I am SO not a morning person and HATE waking up early!

YOU GET TO PICK ONE SUPERPOWER. WHAT IS IT?
I would have to agree with Stephanie from Falling into First with this. Definitely teleportation! I could just snap my fingers and be right where I needed to be.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE QUOTE OR SAYING?
"In all of living have much fun and laughter. Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured."
-Gordon B. Hinckley

IF YOU HAD TO SING ONE SONG ON AMERICAN IDOL, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I would have to say either Brave by Sara Bareilles or I Was Here by Beyonce

ARE YOU A MORNING PERSON OR A NIGHT OWL?
Oh, I already answered this one....definitely a Night Owl. I don't have a problem staying up at all, but HATE waking up in the mornings!

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE RESOURCE THAT YOU'VE CREATED IN YOUR TPT SHOP?
I love my Odd and Even Pack that I posted a few months ago! It is jam packed with posters, centers, games, worksheets, a class book, flip books and an art project!

I am also linking up at Kelly and Kim's Kindergarten Kreations for their Markdown Monday Linky. This pack will be marked down to only $3.00 until Friday! {August 15, 2014} Just click on the pictures below to go and check it out in my store!

SHARE SOMETHING WE MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU!
I am actually not going to be teaching this year. My husband is in the last year of his graduate degree and we will be moving around quite a bit in the next year for his clinical affiliations. It's been a little hard for me to see everyone posting pictures of their classrooms and such, but it will be good. It will give me a lot of time to work on things for my store and blog more often to get to know all of you wonderful teachers better!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
I would love for you to leave a comment and tell me what your favorite thing is about starting a new year!

I also have a couple giveaways to tell you about before you go!

Ashley from Savvy in 2nd Grade is kick starting her blog with this giveaway! She has 8 different packs with some amazing things from some amazing sellers. Make sure to follow her blog too!

For Those, Like Me, Who Didn't Attend the TpT Conference

Well it's official. We moved up to Utah a few weeks ago. I was SO bummed that we moved from Vegas RIGHT before the TpT Conference! I missed it by 13 days!

Next year....next year. Hopefully I'll be able to attend and meet so many of you wonderful bloggers and sellers!!

Well, if you're like me, and missed the conference this year, I'm sure you've been seeing all the fun posts about all of the classes and memories that were made while there...feeling a little sad that you weren't able to go yourself.

WELL, I have stumbled across a blogger:

http://applefortheteach.blogspot.com/

Kelly was fortunate enough to attend the conference and she is sharing all of the fun things she learned in each session!

It has been so fun for me to read her notes and learn some new tips and tricks, even if I wasn't able to attend this year! Click on the following links to read her posts:

Have you found any other bloggers that are posting about what they learned during the sessions like Kelly? I'd love if you'd comment me the links so I can check them out!

Hope you're all having a fabulous July....I can't believe it's already the 18th!!

Teachers LOVE Summer

http://aclassroomfullofsmiles.blogspot.com/2014/06/teacherslovesummer.html

Today I am linking up with

http://aclassroomfullofsmiles.blogspot.com/2014/06/teacherslovesummer.html

to celebrate summer with my Top 3 Summer Goals!

1. Pack Everything and Move

YES. I said move.

I have been delaying blogging about this, but I guess now is as good a time as ever to announce the bitter/sweet news that I will not be teaching this next year.

For those of you that have followed my blog for awhile, you know that my husband is currently in grad school. Well....he is jumping into this third and FINAL year before he graduates with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy! (Can't wait!)

His last year consists of clinical rotations and we will be moving to Utah the end of next week for him to complete them. He has one in Salt Lake City, Provo and St. George.

Because of all the different locations, I won't be able to teach.

I have absolutely LOVED the school that I've taught at for the last 2 years, and my heart broke when I said good-bye to my cute kinders. I'm so sad to leave all the wonderful people that I've come to know. I am definitely not the same person I was when I first walked through the doors 2 years ago and I will feel forever blessed to have worked there.

2. Be Productive

I always tend to become a little lazy during the summer. Often times I'll look back on the week and wonder "What did I do besides lounge around in my pj's!?"

I want to be productive.

I want to finish up some TpT products I've been working on for awhile, and create others that I have on my To-Do List!

I also want to read. It's been awhile since I've read any books.

I've been wanting to read a series called "The Work and the Glory." It is the story of a fictional family who travels with the Mormon Pioneers across the United States. I've wanted to read it for a long time and just never got around to it.

Do you have any other good book suggestions for me!?
(I'll have a LOT of time over the next year)

3. Run

I HATE running. I've never enjoyed it. But I know how good it is for your body and it's great exercise! My goal is to run a 5K at the end of the summer.

I'm starting to do the "Couch to 5K" program. If you haven't heard of it, you MUST check it out.

It breaks it down week by week and you start out slow. Week one is Walking 1 1/2 minutes, running 1 minute for a total of 20 minutes. (Well, it includes a 5 min warm up walk....so I guess a total of 25 minutes.)

http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml

It slowly increases each week, for a total of 9 weeks, but you can repeat any week if you need to. By the end of the 9 weeks you should be able to run a 5K without stopping!! (Something I've never done!)

There is even an app for your phone that costs $1.99

I usually attempt/start this each summer, but once school starts up again I stop doing it. I guess that is one perk I'll have this year! (Now I won't have an excuse to stop! eeek! lol)
