If you don't follow her already, make sure you do. She shares fabulous ideas and amazing products!

I love, Love, LOVE her "Stamp It" pack!

http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Stamp-It-Word-Work-Literacy-Activities-1082744

First of all....ALL little kids love stamps. I have yet to meet one child who doesn't.
This 44 page pack is SO engaging and fun. It's perfect for a word work center and includes a variety of pages to keep your kiddos busy! AND this will definitely help them strengthen their fine motor skills without even knowing it!

Kimberly included 35 different "Trace It! Stamp It! Write It!" pages; 26 of which are different word family pages, and the rest are sight words.

She also included ABC stamp pages, beginning and ending sounds, and missing vowel pages. Seriously you guys, this pack is fabulous!

My adorable 7-year-old Niece and 4-year-old Nephew came to town for Thanksgiving and when I asked them if they'd want to do this with me they were so excited!!

We started out with the Trace it, Stamp it, Write it pages. My Niece worked on this one and she loved it!

Then we decided to switch it up a little bit. I laminated a few pages and then they used playdough to stamp the letters, and a dry erase marker to trace and write it!

This is my barely-turned-4-year-old nephew! Didn't he do a great job!? My sister told me that he hasn't learned his lowercase letters yet, and look how good he wrote them!
Proud Aunt....right here! :)

There are 2 different ABC pages included. One completely blank and one with missing letters:

My nephew also worked on the beginning sound page and rocked it!

My sweet niece had fun with the ending sound page:

And last, but not least, the middle vowel pages.
She wrote on one page with pencil:

Playdough stamped another page:

And then wrote with a dry erase marker:

There are so many different ways that you can use these pages!
Normal stamps, playdough stamps, dry erase markers, pencils....you could even use magnetic letters, letter tiles or letter stamp markers!

The possibilities are endless, and all the different variations will definitely keep your students engaged and loving life!

Do You Want a Warm Hug??

Who doesn't love warm hugs!?

Olaf does, that's for sure!
http://www.amazon.com/Disneys-Frozen-Hide-Olaf-Plush/dp/B00P1OXLHO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1417726884&sr=8-2&keywords=hide+and+hug+olaf

I recently got this in the mail and was so excited! All the little kids LOVE Frozen and Olaf. I remember last year when it came out....All I heard was *knock*knock*knock "Do You Want to Build a Snowman!?......" They would sing the entire song at the top of their lungs!

And then there was always "Let it Go! Let it GO!!!!!!....."

I knew all of the songs before I even went to see the movie! (Are you with me on that!?)

So when I pre-ordered my "Hug and Hide Olaf" in October, I was excited!

When you open it up, this is what you see:
http://www.amazon.com/Disneys-Frozen-Hide-Olaf-Plush/dp/B00P1OXLHO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1417726884&sr=8-2&keywords=hide+and+hug+olaf

It comes with a stuffed Olaf and a book. Now, when I ordered it, It made it sound like an "Elf on the Shelf" type of thing. BUT you could use this either in place of the Elf, or you could do it in January!

When I opened it up and read the book, it wasn't quite what I was expecting. Still cute, but it doesn't preface an "Elf of the Shelf" type of thing.
http://www.amazon.com/Disneys-Frozen-Hide-Olaf-Plush/dp/B00P1OXLHO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1417726884&sr=8-2&keywords=hide+and+hug+olaf

It starts out with Olaf telling you he loves warm hugs. He tries to give you a hug, but can't because he's in a book! He asks if he plays a game with you, if you'll give him a hug.

"What game should we play?     Leap Troll?"
http://www.amazon.com/Disneys-Frozen-Hide-Olaf-Plush/dp/B00P1OXLHO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1417726884&sr=8-2&keywords=hide+and+hug+olaf

"Ring-around-the-reindeer?"
(These would be fun games for a class party....just sayin'!)
http://www.amazon.com/Disneys-Frozen-Hide-Olaf-Plush/dp/B00P1OXLHO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1417726884&sr=8-2&keywords=hide+and+hug+olaf

"Hide-And-Seek!"
http://www.amazon.com/Disneys-Frozen-Hide-Olaf-Plush/dp/B00P1OXLHO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1417726884&sr=8-2&keywords=hide+and+hug+olaf

In the end the book opens up when you find him and he wants a hug.

You can then hide the Olaf stuffed animal included and find him to give him a hug.

I would definitely switch it up a little bit to have it be more like an "Elf of the Shelf" thing, but I thought it was really cute and wanted to share it with you in case you want your own. Just click any of the pictures to go to Amazon and check it out for yourself!

Would you like a fabulous FREEBIE to go along with this!?

Today I am linking up with Bloghoppin' to show you what I bought during the sale!

http://imbloghoppin.blogspot.com/2014/12/show-us-what-you-bought-linky-party.html

I LOVE the site wide sales, don't you!? I actually purchased more during this sale than any other sale! :s  Haha. Don't worry though, my husband even TOLD me I could! (He's so great.)

Since I'm not in the classroom this year I only purchased graphics this time....although I did add a TON of great packs to my wishlist for when I'm in the classroom again!

I ended up making 2 different purchases (to utilize tpt credits more, of course!) This was my first purchase:

Snow Buddies by Creative Clips
Love Monsters by KPM Doodles
Shamrock Doodles by Creative Clips
Scrappy Number Kids by Graphics From the Pond
Doodle Page Borders and Frames by Jamie Harnar (The Itty Bitty Teacher)
Dough Clipart by Teacher Laura
Border Hoarders Club by Kelly Benefield
I also purchased another single font license from KG Fonts

I am so excited to be part of Kelly's first "Border Hoarders Club" for January! Is it bad if a part of me, a VERY small part of me, hopes I don't like it so I won't want to keep purchasing it each month? LOL. Let's be honest though....her borders are AMAZING! I know I definitely won't be disappointed and I CANNOT wait to download the surprises each week! You still have time to join her January club...what are you waiting for!?

My second purchase was all CVC graphics. If you're a fan of my "Read it, Bead it, Type it, Wipe it" products, then this is a hint to what will be coming soon!

Short Vowel CVC Clipart Bundle by Teacher Laura
CVC Middle a Words Clip Art Bundle by Educlips/Educasong

A Few Things I'm Thankful For....

Sometimes we get so caught up in our lives that we forget to express our gratitude for the blessings we have.

Emily Freeman, an author, came to my church to speak to the women a couple of weeks ago. She said something that stuck with me, "You don't just HAVE a good day....but you must SEE good days." How true is that!?

No matter what is going on in our lives each day, it is our perception that matters. We can FIND joy in our lives everyday, we just have to LOOK for it!

I believe one of the ways to do this is by expressing gratitude!

That's why I am linking up with Primary Powers today for their "Super Thankful Linky"

Here are some of the things I am grateful for in my life:

Thanks for stopping by today!
I hope that you can find time to ponder about the things that you are thankful for and LOOK for joy in your life each day.
